Twentynine Palms is a small town in the California Desert located on the north border of Joshua Tree National Park. It is in a desert and mountain area and is located approximately half-way between Los Angeles and Las Vegas using Interstates 10 and 15. Visit the Old Schoolhouse Museum, the oldest public building in the Morongo Basin area having come into existence in 1927.
